Triphenylmethyl Thionitrite: An Efficient NO Transfer Reagent During the Synthesis of a Triruthenium Nitrosyl Cluster

Abstract The synthesis and structural characterization of the novel triruthenium nitrosyl cluster [Ru 3 (μ‐NO)(CO) 5 (μ‐H)(μ‐PBu t 2 ) (μ‐dppm)] ( is described. Compound was obtained by reaction 46‐valence electron (μ‐CO)(CO) 4 (μ ‐H)(μ‐H)(μ‐PBu 1 with nitric oxide on other hand in a more efficient way transfer reagent triphenylmethyl thionitrite (TTN). NO outlined dichloromethane whereas TTN realized THF. Both methods worked at ambient temperature affording compound high yield. Temporarily we found that transformation accompanied fast side‐reaction resulting further substitution CO ligands. molecular structure crystal confirmed single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction.

Bi(NO3)3.5H2O: An efficient acidic reagent for synthesis of azo dyes at room temperature
An one-pot method has been developed for the synthesis of azo dyes via sequential diazotization–diazo coupling of aromatic amines with coupling agents at room temperature in the presence of Bi(NO3)3. 5H2O. Short reaction times, high yields, a clean process, simple methodology, easy work-up and green conditions are advantages of this protocol.
